Fairness is my number one value. I think this emanated from watching people out to dinner.
I’d observe one individual order an entrée, main, dessert and 4 cocktails whilst the other had an entree and a glass of water. When it came time to pay, the person that ate their way through the menu kindly offered to split the bill.
Using this principle of fairness in a business sense, I have a passion for seeing value delivered to clients. I am a firm believer in ‘you get what you pay for’ and ‘if it seems too good to be true, it probably is’. My father instilled in me ‘if you do it right the first time you only do it once’. That and ‘if you don’t have it in the head you must have it in the legs’ – but that’s a different story entirely.
I am in a privileged position where I work with businesses, individuals and co-workers everyday consistently looking to add value and make a difference in their lives.
Away from work if I have sun, surf, and sand I’m in my happy place. I believe a simple life is a happy life.
