The opportunity to help people improve their relationship with their finances—by building better habits, gaining clarity, and feeling more in control of their future—is something I find incredibly meaningful.
My journey into financial planning began in high school, when my accounting teacher, Mrs Moore, gave me a copy of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. At the time, I had no idea how significant that small gesture would be, but it planted a seed that ultimately shaped the direction of my life and career.
What draws me to this profession is not just the technical side of finance, but the human side. I firmly believe that we all become creatures of habit, and that our relationship with money is no different.
At heart, I thrive on process and structure, and financial planning gives me the perfect balance of both. It allows me to apply logic, strategy and organisation, while also making a genuine difference in people’s lives. I am fascinated by the psychological aspects of personal finance—how people’s upbringing, experiences, beliefs, and ambitions all intersect with the way they view and manage money. I love helping clients connect those dots, articulate what truly matters to them, and turn that into a clear, achievable plan.
Outside of work, life revolves around my amazing fiancée and our two energetic border collies, who keep me well and truly on my toes. I’m a lifelong football fan and a proud Leicester City supporter, and you’ll usually find me catching up on games, out walking the dogs, or pottering around in the garden.
